Go Africa! Living in the tropics with minimal water management infrastructure and mostly from subsistence and cash crop farmings, many of the poor nations, especially in Africa, have the most to lose as the climate changes. Good to see them finally standing up to the rich nations and forcing them to do not screw over Africa, yet again.

This is an example of what I was referring to in my last post. The building is nearly perfect. The materials are gorgeous, the setting is perfect, the balance and interaction with the surrounding environment works great. But why does it have to be so square?
Now this is what I call a beautiful building. Instead of going for the ‘box’ look, this house actually flows and has shape as a cohesive whole. I do not deny that the right sizes and shapes of rectangles can be elegant, but I’d far rather live in a building that isn’t quite so predictable.
